Home Time and Running Areas
We understand that life on the road can be challenging, which is why this position is built around regular home time. Drivers typically spend 5-7 days on the road before returning home for a reset.
The schedule provides a 34-hour reset one week followed by a 48-hour reset the next, creating a predictable routine that allows drivers to reconnect with family and recharge between runs.
Equipment
Drivers operate late-model International LT trucks equipped with automatic transmissions, APUs, inverters, and driver-focused features designed for life on the road. Equipment is maintained through Penske's nationwide maintenance network to help minimize downtime.
Advanced ELD technology helps streamline daily operations, while aerodynamic enhancements and bobtail skirts support fuel efficiency and the company's fuel bonus program.
Freight consists of dry van loads that are 100% no-touch for drivers. A large percentage of freight moves through drop-and-hook operations, helping reduce delays and keep trucks rolling.
Benefits
Medical coverage is available with multiple plan options, along with a Health Savings Plan, $25,000 company-paid life insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, and pet and passenger programs.
Ideal Candidate
We're seeking experienced CDL-A drivers and pre-made teams who are ready for a rewarding driving opportunity with dependable freight and regular home time. Qualified drivers must have at least 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience and the ability to meet safety and driving standards.
American Trucking Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All applicants are considered fairly and equally.
