Full Description

Pay: $1,400 to $1,700 per week
Freight: Mostly drop-and-hook, no-touch freight
Home Time: 7-10 days out followed by home time
Location: Birmingham, AL 35203

Dependable regional dry van freight
7-10 days out with scheduled home time
Performance bonus opportunities available
Late-model Peterbilt equipment with driver amenities

Regional lane coverage and dependable dispatch support help CDL-A truck drivers stay productive while hauling no-touch dry van freight through established regional lanes. This position is built for drivers who value reliable miles, practical equipment, and a steady over-the-road schedule.

Pay & Home Time: Weekly pay is $1,400 to $1,700, with additional earning potential through the performance bonus program. Drivers are typically out 7-10 days before returning home for a 34-48 hour reset, providing a dependable balance between productive miles and time at home.

Your Equipment: You'll operate late-model Peterbilt trucks along with other well-maintained equipment designed for regional operations.

Automatic transmission equipment
Inverter and refrigerator included
Assigned equipment may be taken home
Driver-focused setup for extended trips

The combination of no-touch freight and mostly drop-and-hook loads helps reduce time spent at customer facilities, allowing drivers to stay focused on the road.

The Route: Drivers primarily operate east of I-35 hauling regional dry van freight. Most freight is drop and hook, helping minimize delays while supporting consistent weekly productivity. Drivers typically average 2,500-3,000 miles per week with freight planned to keep trucks moving throughout each trip.
