Full Description
Pay: $1,425 to $1,550 per week
Home Time: Home weekly for 34-hour reset
Freight: Dedicated freight with drop-and-hook and live unloads
Location: Roanoke, VA 24011
Weekly home time with dedicated scheduling
Virginia and West Virginia dedicated freight lanes
Mix of drop-and-hook and powered pallet jack unloads
2021 or newer sleeper equipment
Premium regional freight flow and stronger operational consistency help CDL-A truck drivers stay productive while maintaining reliable weekly home time.
The Route
You're running dedicated lanes between Virginia and West Virginia, handling freight that moves on a schedule you can count on. Four loads per week averaging 490 miles each, covering about 2,000 miles total.
• Dedicated freight paying $1,425 to $1,550 per week
• Mix of drop-and-hook and live unload freight
• Return loads help keep miles productive both directions
Powered pallet jacks help reduce physical strain while keeping freight moving efficiently throughout the week.
Home Time and Schedule
This dedicated position runs seven days a week with home weekly time for a full 34-hour reset.
If you live within 30 miles of the distribution center, you may even be able to take your daily 10-hour breaks at home.
• Night driving, weekends, and holidays are part of the schedule
• Holiday weeks, including the week prior, are mandatory
Equipment and Parking
You'll drive 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth trucks equipped with 1200-1500 watt inverters.
You can park at any terminal or take your truck home when you're home weekly.
