CDL-A Truck Driver | Baton Rouge, LA 70801
Job Type: Regional | Freight: Refrigerated, no-touch
Home Time: Every other week (2 days off) | Weekly Pay: $1,350 to $1,550

This opportunity is built around a refrigerated freight operation that supports consistent weekly mileage through a structured dispatch system and defined regional routing.
Job Details:
Compensation Structure: Drivers earn $1,350 to $1,550 per week with payment issued for all dispatched miles, both loaded and empty. No-touch freight reduces dock time and allows for more consistent mileage accumulation. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available. Quarterly performance incentives and additional accessorial compensation may apply when eligible.
Freight Operations: This regional fleet runs primarily east of I-35 and transports temperature-controlled loads. Freight consists of a mix of drop and hook shipments and scheduled live load appointments, supporting steady weekly routing.
Equipment: Kenworth T-680 automatic tractors equipped with APU, inverter, refrigerator, and Bluetooth capability are assigned to drivers. Units utilize outward-facing cameras only. SmartTruck UT6 aerodynamic reefer trailers are used across the fleet. Assigned tractors may be parked at the driver's residence when secure parking is available.
Orientation Process: Paid company orientation is provided. Upon completion, drivers are dispatched into established regional lanes.

Paid time off is granted after one year of service, and holiday compensation begins after 90 days. Eligibility for participation in a 401(k) retirement program begins after one year of employment. Qualifications: Valid Class A CDL required. Ability to safely operate refrigerated equipment and comply with applicable safety standards.
