Full Description

Experienced CDL-A Drivers

Weekly Pay: $1,250 to $1,550
Location: Southaven, MS 38671

Drivers in this fleet operate within established automotive freight lanes that support consistent weekly miles and dependable dispatch planning. Freight moves primarily through regional corridors east of I-35, allowing drivers to maintain steady mileage while avoiding extended delays at shipping facilities. This opportunity is designed for experienced CDL-A drivers who prefer reliable freight volume and organized routing throughout the week.

The operation prioritizes freight efficiency so drivers can focus on driving rather than waiting at docks. Dispatch planning is structured to maintain steady freight movement while keeping drivers within predictable regional lanes.

What Drivers Can Expect

  • No-touch automotive freight
  • High percentage of drop-and-hook loads
  • Average haul length near 500 miles
  • Typical weekly mileage between 2,500 and 3,000

Freight assignments are coordinated through an established dispatch structure that focuses on maintaining consistent load sequencing. Drivers typically move between automotive suppliers, distribution facilities, and manufacturing customers that rely on dependable freight scheduling.

Equipment

Drivers are assigned well-maintained late-model tractors designed for reliability and driver comfort during longer runs. Most units within this fleet are Peterbilt 579 tractors along with other comparable equipment maintained to fleet standards.

Tractors are equipped with inverters and refrigerators to help drivers remain comfortable while operating extended trips. Depending on operational planning and location, drivers may also be permitted to take their assigned tractor home during scheduled time off.

Benefits

Drivers in this fleet have access to a comprehensive benefits package designed to support long-term driving careers. Medical, dental, and vision coverage are available along with life insurance options and participation in a 401(k) retirement program.

Additional compensation opportunities may include detention pay, layover pay, and safety bonus programs depending on operational conditions. Dispatch teams work closely with drivers throughout the week to support organized routing and consistent freight flow.

Driver Requirements

Drivers must hold a valid Class A CDL and maintain a current DOT medical certification. Applicants should have at least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 12 months or 1 year of experience within the past 3 years operating equipment with a 40-foot or longer trailer.
