Full Description

Regional freight operations in this fleet move through established automotive supply routes that support steady weekly mileage and organized dispatch scheduling. Drivers operating within this network typically run consistent lanes east of I-35 where freight volume remains reliable throughout the week. This opportunity is designed for experienced CDL-A drivers who prefer structured routing, dependable dispatch coordination, and predictable freight flow.

Location: Tallahassee, FL 32303
Weekly Pay: $1,250 to $1,550
Freight: No-Touch Automotive Freight
Home Time: 7-10 Days Out | 34-48 Hour Reset

Freight assignments are planned to keep drivers moving between customers rather than waiting at docks. Dispatch teams prioritize drop-and-hook freight whenever possible so drivers can maintain steady weekly mileage while operating within established regional lanes.

Drivers in this fleet typically run between 2,500 and 3,000 miles per week depending on freight flow and dispatch scheduling. The average haul length is approximately 500 miles, allowing drivers to maintain consistent movement while avoiding excessively long runs.

Fleet Equipment

Drivers are assigned well-maintained late-model tractors designed to support reliability and driver comfort during extended trips. Most equipment in the fleet consists of Peterbilt 579 tractors along with comparable units maintained through a regular service schedule.

Trucks are equipped with practical driver amenities including inverters and refrigerators. Depending on operational planning and location, drivers may also be able to take their assigned tractor home during scheduled time off.

Driver Support and Benefits

Drivers operating within this fleet have access to a comprehensive benefits package designed to support long-term career stability. Medical, dental, and vision coverage are available along with life insurance options and participation in a 401(k) retirement program.

Additional compensation opportunities may include detention pay, layover pay, and safety incentive programs when applicable. Dispatch teams maintain regular communication with drivers to help ensure organized routing and steady freight movement throughout the week.

Driver Qualifications

Applicants must hold a valid Class A CDL and maintain a current DOT medical certification. Drivers should have at least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience within the last 12 months or 1 year of experience within the past 3 years operating equipment with a 40-foot or longer trailer.
