Description for Class A CDL Driver:
- Safely and efficiently operate a commercial Class A truck across 11 surrounding Western states.
- Deliver high-quality refrigerated goods and grocery freight cleanly to major retailers like Safeway.
- Interact professionally with receiving staff and retail customers upon delivery to ensure top-tier service.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle mechanical inspections and manage digital logbooks cleanly.
- Maintain high situational awareness and strictly follow all Federal and State DOT regulations.
Details for Class A CDL Driver:
- Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00 / hour (DOE).
- Schedule: Monday - Friday (Occasional Sundays required).
- Travel: Steady nighttime deliveries, day runs, and occasional 1-night overnight runs.
- Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire.
Requirements for Class A CDL Driver:
- Must possess an active Class A CDL and a minimum of 2+ years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- A safety-minded work ethic with a clean, insurable driving record (MVR).
- Proven dependability, excellent communication skills, and a professional customer-service attitude.
- Ability to handle flexible shift hours, night runs, and occasional regional overnight stays.
- Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and reliability.
