The Truck Driver's role is to serve our Logistics Department by transporting materials or finished products to or from suppliers, customer locations, or other divisions. They are highly motivated and have a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment. This role is vital to ensuring our customers' needs are consistently met, promoting our company's continued strong national growth.

Job Responsibilities:
Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
Meet delivery schedules.
Document and log work/rest periods.
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
Collect and verify delivery instructions.
Report defects, accidents, or violations
Minimum Requirements:
Proven working experience as a truck driver. (At least 2 years)
Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc.)
Ability to drive long hours.
Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
No recent moving or driving violations.
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
Willing to submit to background/drug & alcohol checks and provide employment recommendations.
Trucking school diploma.
Valid Class A driving license.
Environment/Physical Requirements with or without Accommodation:
This position is carried out in a fabrication shop environment and as such has the following physical work requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 100lbs
Must pass DOT physical
Must have good peripheral vision
Must be able to manipulate the vehicle into all necessary locations
Must be able to drive in reverse using rear view mirrors
Must be able to work in all weather Conditions
