Position Description


POSITION TITLE: Bus Driver


QUALIFICATIONS:






High School diploma or G.E.D. required






Must be able to read and follow a series of directions or instructions.






Must be able to lift, turn, twist, and bend on a frequent basis.






Must be able to push and pull a minimum of 60 lbs. on a frequent basis.






Must be 21 years of age or older






Class B CDL required (on-site training available)






Must pass DOT Physical and pre-employment drug and alcohol screen






REPORTS TO: Transportation Director


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:






Student management






Pre-trip and post-trip bus inspections daily






Maintain and clean the interior of the bus






Maintain an up-to-date seating chart






Report behavorial issues to bus discipline supervisor






Attend required driver trainings
