Full Description
LTL Role:
• The LTL role is incredibly physical- typically tailgating however some circumstances may ask for your further assistance
• Delivers furniture to retail stores and warehouses- furniture is floor loaded not palletized
• Delivers furniture loads comprised of single stop and multi stop loads
• Primarily runs within a region, however, will cross regional boundaries as needed 1000-1500 mile radius.
• Picks up and delivers backhauls and plant pick-ups at both drop and hook and live load/unload accounts
• You are out a week and home for your 34-hour restart (weekends are not promised)
LTL Home Time:
• Our LTL ambassadors are typically home weekly for their 34-hour restart. However, there may be times when unforeseen circumstances occur and you will have to take your restart away from your home domicile, in these cases restart pay does apply.
• Ashley does not guarantee any specific days of the week off, nor do we have set work schedules. For example, you could be leaving out on a Sunday and home on Friday. Or leaving out Tuesday and back home on Sunday.
• Our business needs coupled with your hours of service fully dictate the days of the week that you work.
Pay breakdown:
• Sleeper Cab: $167/day for 1st year with increases each following each anniversary year thereafter
• Rate per mile = $.46 if you run 381+ miles (from midnight to midnight)
• Average trips per week 3-4 with 6 stops on average per trip
• Drop/Stop = Fleet averages 4-6 per week
Current weekly average is $1900 -$2100 week = $102,000+ per year.
Equipment:
• Ashley runs all late models either Kenworth and Volvo sleeper cabs and Freightliner Day Cabs
• We turn our trucks in as they approach high mileage. This not only keeps our fleet of trucks looking amazing but also helps decrease major mechanical issues from occurring often.
• Ashley sleeper trucks are also equipped with APU's and refrigerators
• Cruise is set at 67MPH
• Trucks are assigned based on availability
• Sleeper cabs equipped with 110-volt power inverters
• Ashley does not guarantee the issuance of a preferred transmission (manual or automatic) or the make of the truck
• Our fleet runs 28, 48- and 53-foot dry vans.
• Our trailers are DOT inspected every 120 days which helps maintain appearance, performance and minimize downtime
• We currently have PeopleNet devices as our OBCS
Benefits:
• Medical, Dental and Vision - Ashley pays 80% of the cost of insurance
• Basic Life and AD&D, this is a company paid benefit, that in the event of the loss of life while you are a current Ashley employee a lump sum of money will be paid to a beneficiary of your choice
• Additional benefits are available for enrollment any time of the year. These include Identity Theft Protection, Legal Benefits, Auto and Home insurance and Pet insurance
• 401k and Profit Sharing - Automatic enrolled at 4%, which can be changed at any time through principle
• Vacation - on the 91st day of employment you will receive 3 days of vacation

2 years = 10 days
5 years = 15 days
9 years = 20 days
