Full Description
Job Purpose
To deliver construction access equipment to commercial, residential, and industrial construction sites. When not on deliveries, warehouse duties will be a priority.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver and pick-up construction access equipment and accessories at construction jobsites in a professional and safe manner.
- Count all material and document on the applicable forms clearly and legibly, including all shortages, damages, or any other discrepancies of material
- Complete pre-trip inspections and document according to ASC guidelines and procedures.
- Driver will be required to to load and unload material from the truck without assistance or use of a forklift/lull.
- Coordinate the delivery and/or pick-up with the on-site contact / representative.
- Obtain all necessary signatures and give all necessary copies, including safety instructions to the person signing the paperwork.

When not driving, primary duties include working in the warehouse inspecting and reconditioning access equipment, loading and unloading trucks, cleaning trucks etc

Undertake other duties or special tasks as assigned by the Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 21 years old.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Possess a current CDL-A driver's license with a good driving record (No more than 2 incidents in 3 years and no DWI/DUI or Careless/Reckless Driving charges in 5 years)
- Have a minimum of one year of commercial delivery driving experience;
- Possess a DOT medical card;
- Demonstrate a disposition for working as a member of a team;
- Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills in the English language;
- Be able to consistently lift 70 lbs. without assistance.
- Experience in customer service
All candidates must submit to drug testing, a criminal background check and E-Verification of their eligibility to work in the US.
Working Conditions
- Employee will spend periods of time counting, stacking, loading, and unloading construction access equipment and accessories.
- Employee will spend long periods of time out in the elements, whether hot or cold.
