Class A CDL Truck Driver - Scrap Metal Hauling
We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to haul recycled ferrous and nonferrous metals using various sizes and styles of containers. Routes are located within Wisconsin and neighboring reciprocity areas, allowing drivers to be home every night.
This position offers flexible hours and delivery times, paid roll-off training for the right candidate, and above-average annual compensation.

Responsibilities
• Safely and promptly swapping out scrap metal bins
• Local and semi-local routes available
• Making sure that loads are safely secured and road-ready
• Class A CDL required for occasional use of a pup trailer
• Safely and promptly deliver, pick up, and exchange scrap-metal containers.
• Operate on local and semi-local routes.
• Inspect, secure, and prepare loads for safe road travel.
• Operate roll-off equipment and occasionally pull a pup trailer.
• Complete required vehicle inspections and transportation paperwork.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers.
• Follow all company procedures and DOT safety regulations.
Qualifications
• Class A CDL with a FedMed card
• Excellent driving record
• High regard for safety
• Truck driving experience is a must
• Valid Class A CDL and current Federal Medical Card.
• Minimum of five years of professional truck-driving experience.
• Excellent driving record and a strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to safely operate equipment and work around scrap-metal facilities.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable working with customers.
• Roll-off truck experience is preferred but not required; paid training is available.
