- Starting pay of $111.78 per flatbed load
- Average 3 loads per day (3-4 hours per load)
- Home daily - no overnights
- Monday to Friday schedule
- Daytime hours; 4 a.m. until finished
- Average 55-60 hours per week
- Local deliveries from LaVergne, TN to Morrison, TN with occasional runs to Jasper, AL
- Average round trip: 3-4 hours
- Average 10-20 loads per week (3 loads per day)
Responsibilities:
- Flatbed trailer (flatbed training provided)
- Secure steel, tarp and untarp loads
- Pick up coiled steel on covered wagon or Conestoga trailer
- Ability to secure and tarp flatbed loads
- Occasional van runs at an hourly rate or OTR runs at mileage rate

Job Requirements
- Must live within a 75-mile radius
- Must have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years
- Must have Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- No convictions for Reckless driving within the past 5 years
- No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years
- No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years
- No serious violations within the previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too close, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with fatality)
- No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
- No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years
Essential functions:
- Load freight -lift requirement: 80 lbs
- Unload freight - lift requirement: 80 lbs
- Move freight - force requirement: 54 lbs
- Lift and move side kits -lift requirements: 46 lbs
- Lift tarp - lift requirement: 110 lbs
- Apply and remove tarp(s) on load
- Secure load with chains and hardware -lift requirements: 80 lbs
- Climb onto and off the flatbed trailer
- Count freight
- Complete fuel tickets
- Complete delivery receipt
- Hook/Unhook trailer - force requirement: 90 lbs
- Perform pre-trip inspections
- Drive
- Extensive travel - ability to sit upright for extended periods of time.
- Regular predictable attendance
