Class B CDL Driver

FULL-TIME

$23/hr

- Safely driving a large commercial truck, with a gross weight of over 26,000 pounds, with automatic transmission over a 200-mile radius
- Staying informed of and follows all Midway Wholesale safety procedures
- Inspecting vehicles daily to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order
- Reporting on vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damages in accordance with Midway Wholesale’s safety procedures and policies
- Securing and inspecting loads for proper and safe cargo securement. Removes debris from loaded and empty trailers
- Maintaining logs of working hours or vehicle service/repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations
- Reading and interpreting maps, directions, and road signs to determine vehicle routes
- Loading and unloading trucks, using specialized equipment as necessary
- Operating forklifts over rough terrain and hydraulic levers on conveyor trucks

Shift start: 7:00AM
Shift length: 8 - 10 hours
Monday - Friday, some Saturdays required

• Must pass drug screen (cannabis included)
• Must pass background check
• Can lift 85 lbs
• Must be at least 21+ years old

Must have and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clear driving record. Must pass DOT physicals
