Driver Shuttle Single DOT

The purpose of the Driver Shuttle Single DOT is to perform pickup and delivery of daily routes to domicile drivers and return empty trailers for reloading back to the warehouse.

• Perform as a safe and courteous driver and demonstrate BEK principles during interactions with the public. • Maintain cleanliness of tractors/trailers used during the shift to ensure the upkeep and overall condition of equipment. • Adhere to all FMCSA laws and regulations to demonstrate compliance at all times. • Ensure trailers and tractors are adequately fueled and fuel levels are consistently maintained on equipment used at the warehouse or shuttle site. • Occasionally complete deliveries to customers between to/from the warehouse or shuttle site as needed.

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required • Must have Class "A" CDL. • At least 1 year of DOT driving experience required • Knowledge of FMCSA rules and regulations required • Ability to read and interpret rules/guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions • Good computer skills • Ability to learn internal applications (i.e. OBC and POD equipment) • Able to work outside in extreme temperatures (cold and hot)

Driver safety is important to Ben E. Keith. We use dash cameras which leverage artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events and improve driver safety performance. The videos are also used to exonerate drivers in accidents. All drivers sign a driver consent form upon hire to confirm their understanding.
