JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods to and from designated locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety issues, and perform preventative maintenance
- Load and unload cargo required
- Operate an electric or manual pallet jack, or a hand cart to move or load/unload full pallets
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining professionalism
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid CDL (Class A)
- Clean driving record
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience preferred
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience with route driving or local deliveries
