Your Responsibilities
As a Boise Cascade truck driver, you'll:
- Safely deliver and distribute building products to customers.
- Operate transportation equipment with expertise, including tractor/trailer combinations.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo with care.
- Inspect vehicles, maintain logs, and ensure compliance with D.O.T. regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and relay feedback to supervisors.
- Maintain your truck's cleanliness and safe operating condition.
- Collaborate with team members to support loading/unloading as needed.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (or 2 years equivalent work experience).
- Valid Class A CDL with the ability to operate tractor/trailer combinations.
- Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience.
- Working knowledge of D.O.T. regulations and compliance with Boise Cascade driver qualifications.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Flatbed driving experience.
- Knowledge of building materials and forklift operation.
