CDL A Driver - Doraville, GA

Job Description At Bulkmatic you are more than just a truck driver. You'll operate pneumatic equipment, manage relationships with customers and be empowered to make the right decisions for your deliveries - All while being part of a team that leads in the dry bulk shipping industry.

Home Time:
At our Doraville Terminal drivers can expect to average 1 night out per month. Most weeks a driver is home every night but that is not guaranteed. There will be weeks when due to customer needs, drivers will need to stay out a night or two based on freight demands.
There is weekend work at this location--Drivers can expect to work every other weekend.

Pay:
Drivers in Doraville currently average between $90,000 - $100,000 per year. We are now offering a $3,000 Sign-on Bonus to new driver hires at our Doraville terminal. Ask our recruiters about the recently Increased Weekly Safety Pay Incentive that allows Drivers to earn extra cash each week!

About the Job:
Being a driver for Bulkmatic is a more physical job than driving for many other companies. Two-thirds of your time will be driving. The rest of the time will be loading, unloading using the pneumatic systems and interacting with customers. We have extensive training on our safety procedures and the pneumatic equipment. No Pneumatic Experience Required.

• Be at least 23 years old
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL with at least 1-year Tractor Trailer driving experience.
  • Driving Experience should be within the past 10 years; within the past 5 years is preferred.
• Be physically and mentally qualified to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid medical certificate as defined by the FMCSA
• Must not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the rules and regulations set forth by the FMCSA
• Meet all the requirements and be able to perform all of the tasks and essential duties of the job description
• You must have a valid CDL Class A license in the State that you reside in or in cases of recent relocation the ability to change license within 30 days.
• Must have a clean or acceptable driving record
• Ability or operate/inspect equipment safely
