We are hiring a driver for the Shawnee/Eudora, Kansas region. The Class A CDL Flatbed Truck Driver ensures the safe and efficient transport of freight within a designated regional area. Drivers will operate in full compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations while maintaining a strong safety culture and professionalism.

All drivers must meet and maintain compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, including driver qualification files, hours of service, vehicle inspections, and drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Required Experiences:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- 3-5 years of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience
- Minimum 3 years of flatbed truck experience
- Proven cargo securement and tie-down experience, including chains, straps,binders, and tarping
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations ordisqualifying offenses per FMCSA standards
- Strong safety mindset and compliance-oriented approach
- Attention to detail in load securement and documentation
- Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Required Qualification and Skills:
- Ability to pass and maintain:
- DOT physical and medical certification
- Pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing in compliance with 49 CFR Part 382
- Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA safety regulations
- Ability to safely perform physical job duties, including lifting, climbing, and securing freight
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate Class A commercial motor vehicles (CMVs), including flatbed trucks, on regional routes with predictable lanes and regular home time
- Safely transport and deliver freight while ensuring proper load securement using chains, straps, binders, tarps, and other DOT-approved methods
- Secure and inspect loads in accordance with FMCSA cargo securement regulations (49 CFR Part 393)
- Conduct pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT vehicle inspection requirements (49 CFR Part 396)
- Accurately maintain Hours of Service (HOS) logs using ELD systems in accordance with 49 CFR Part 395
- Adhere to all DOT, FMCSA, state, and local transportation laws, including weight limits, speed limits, and regional route requirements
- Report accidents, incidents, injuries, cargo issues, or vehicle defects immediately per company and DOT procedures
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch, customers, and facility personnel
- Complete and maintain required shipping documents and delivery paperwork
- Participate in required safety training, compliance reviews, and DOT-mandated programs
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
- Other duties as assigned by leadership

- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling and/or sitting for long periods of time.
- Push/Pull/Lift/Moving 50 pounds repeatedly.
