Truck Driver Job Responsibilities: Drive and operate 2021 Dodge Ram 5500 truck with 40ft flat bed truck. Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps. Pre-Post inspect truck. Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed. Load and unload cargo. Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance. Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy Pick up and Drop loads timely. Maintained equipment in clean and orderly condition. Ability to load, transport, and deliver materials to various sites Provided to service to local customers in a courteous and timely manner in compliance with the daily hot shots scheduled. Truck Driver Skills and Qualifications: Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledge Pallet jack experience required Ability to lift 60 pounds Able to pass pre employment and random random drug tests Clean driving record No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years Listening and verbal communication skills Dependability Education, Experience, and Age Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent CDL – Class A or Class B or Class C Certificate from an accredited CDL school 21 years or older HAZMAT and or Tanker endorsement required At least six months of OTR experience Driver’s License Class A with Hazmat endorsements Profound knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving techniques Thorough knowledge of general Mechanics This position will pay 25% of each load taken and dropped. Driver must be willing to stay OTR at least 2 weeks at a time. This position also has the ability to work in Texas as well when needed so that driver can still maintain a work life balance and be with there family.
