Full Description

Regional CDL-A Truck Driver | Charlotte, NC (28202)

Weekly Pay: $1,350-$1,500 average
Schedule: Clean 12-day regional scheduling
Home Time: 48-hour reset every other weekend
Freight: No-touch regional dry van freight

Simple regional freight and clean scheduling keep drivers moving consistently without constant changes in routes or last-minute dispatch confusion. CDL-A truck drivers in this fleet run established regional lanes with steady miles, planned reloads, and dependable home time every other weekend. The operation is built for drivers who prefer organized dispatch planning, repeatable schedules, and straightforward freight movement throughout the week.
• No-touch dry van freight
• Average haul lengths of 700-750 miles
• Majority drop-and-hook freight
• Automatic Freightliner and Kenworth trucks
• Rider and pet program available after approval

Regional Freight

Drivers run multi-state regional freight with a strong mix of drop-and-hook loads and limited live unload freight depending on the customer. Loads are planned in advance to help reduce downtime and maintain steady weekly movement throughout each dispatch cycle. The no-touch setup allows drivers to stay focused on driving instead of extended dock time or frequent freight handling.

Home Schedule

Drivers operate on a structured 12-day schedule followed by a full 48-hour reset every other weekend. The schedule is designed to provide consistent home time while maintaining dependable weekly mileage across regional lanes. Dispatch planning helps keep routes organized from one trip to the next while reducing unnecessary downtime between assignments.

Equipment

Drivers operate 2021 or newer Freightliner and Kenworth tractors equipped with automatic transmissions, APUs, inverters, refrigerator space, and TV/microwave mounts. Trucks are maintained regularly through preventive maintenance scheduling to help reduce breakdowns and keep drivers moving efficiently throughout the week.

Pay & Benefits

Drivers average $1,350-$1,500 weekly based on miles and experience. Additional detention compensation is available during qualifying delays. Weekly pay is processed consistently, and drivers become eligible for medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and 401(k) benefits after 6 months with the company.

Additional Information

Rider and pet programs are available after approval. Drivers may take assigned trucks home during resets where safe parking is available or use approved parking locations when needed. Dispatch and maintenance teams remain available throughout each trip to assist with load planning, routing support, and equipment coordination.
