Straightforward no-touch freight, stable regional routes, and a schedule designed to keep drivers moving during the week and home on the weekend. CK Transportation is hiring a CDL A driver for a Northeast regional position based near Harrisburg where freight stays consistent and dispatch planning helps create a predictable workweek.
This fleet is built around route stability and organized freight movement rather than constant lane changes. Drivers run established Northeast corridors with planned load transitions that help reduce downtime and keep miles steady throughout the week. The schedule normally operates Monday through Friday with a full 48-hour reset at home every weekend.

Freight & Operations
Drivers operate throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and surrounding Northeast states. Freight is primarily no-touch dry van with a strong mix of drop-and-hook freight that helps keep trucks moving. Consistent freight volume and repeat lanes allow drivers to become familiar with their routes while maintaining dependable weekly miles.
Equipment
Drivers are assigned 2019 or newer Freightliner Cascadia tractors equipped with automatic transmissions, APUs, inverters, refrigerators, double bunks, and SiriusXM capability. Equipment is maintained on a regular preventive maintenance schedule to help minimize downtime and keep drivers on the road.
Pay & Benefits
Weekly earnings range from $1,350 to $1,550 depending on miles and performance. A $1,200 guaranteed minimum pay program is available for qualifying drivers during slower freight periods. Pay is processed every Friday. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation, holiday pay, safety incentives, and toll coverage through E-Z Pass and I-Pass programs.
Orientation
Orientation lasts approximately 2.5 days with hotel accommodations and meals provided. Drivers receive $500 during orientation and leave with lane information, dispatcher contacts, and a clear understanding of how the operation runs before starting their first trip.
Driver Requirements
Valid Class A CDL required
Must be at least 21 years old
Qualified applicants must meet one of the following:
- 3 months OTR experience within the last year
- 6 months OTR or local experience within the last year
- 1 year OTR experience within the last 3 years
