Weekly Pay: $1,350-$1,500 average
Freight: No-touch regional dry van freight
Home Time: 48-hour reset every other weekend
Location: Jackson, MS (39201)
Regional freight out of Jackson keeps CDL-A truck drivers moving with dependable weekly miles, organized dispatch planning, and a schedule that stays consistent from one work cycle to the next. This fleet is built around established regional lanes, no-touch dry van freight, and straightforward operations that allow drivers to focus on driving instead of dealing with constant route changes or unnecessary delays.
• Average haul lengths of 700-750 miles
• No-touch regional dry van freight
• Majority drop-and-hook freight
• 2021 or newer Freightliner and Kenworth trucks
• Rider and pet program available after approval
Running Area
Drivers operate throughout established regional lanes with consistent freight moving across multiple states. Most shipments are drop-and-hook, with some live unload freight depending on the customer. Freight is planned in advance to support steady weekly movement while helping reduce downtime between assignments. Organized load planning allows drivers to spend more time driving and less time waiting for the next load.
Scheduling
This fleet follows a structured 12-day schedule followed by a guaranteed 48-hour reset every other weekend. Dispatch works to coordinate loads efficiently while maintaining dependable weekly mileage. The operation is designed to create a predictable work routine that remains consistent throughout each dispatch cycle, making it easier to plan both work and home time.
Driver Equipment
Drivers operate 2021 or newer Freightliner and Kenworth tractors equipped with automatic transmissions. Trucks include APUs, inverters, refrigerator space, and TV and microwave mounts to improve comfort during longer trips. Equipment is maintained through scheduled preventive maintenance to help minimize downtime and keep drivers moving.
Driver Benefits
CDL-A truck drivers average $1,350-$1,500 weekly based on miles and experience. Additional detention compensation is available during qualifying delays. Weekly pay is processed consistently, and drivers become eligible for medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan after 6 months with the company.
Driver Support
Approved riders and pets are welcome through the company's rider and pet program. Drivers may take assigned trucks home during resets where safe parking is available or utilize approved parking locations when needed. Dispatch and maintenance teams remain available throughout each trip to assist with routing, load planning, and equipment coordination.
CDL-A Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL required
Minimum 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience required
