Freight: No-Touch Dry Van
Running Area: Regional Freight Network
Hiring Area: Laredo
Schedule: Steady Regional Miles with Organized Dispatch
Drivers looking for a straightforward regional operation with consistent scheduling will find a dependable setup with CK Transportation. This CDL A truck driver position out of Laredo focuses on steady freight movement, simple dispatch flow, and reliable home time that stays structured from week to week. Freight moves through established regional lanes, helping drivers avoid constant route changes and unnecessary downtime between loads.
Regional Freight Flow
Drivers on this account primarily run regional dry van freight through Texas and surrounding states. Most loads are no-touch with a combination of drop-and-hook and scheduled live unload freight. Dispatch plans loads ahead of time to help drivers maintain consistent miles throughout the week instead of sitting and waiting on last-minute assignments.
Average haul lengths allow drivers to stay productive while still maintaining regular home time. Freight remains active year-round through a stable customer network, helping reduce fluctuations in miles during slower freight periods.
Weekly Pay & Benefits
Drivers average between $1,250 and $1,450 weekly depending on experience, freight volume, and mileage. Pay is processed weekly, and qualifying detention time is available when delays occur at customers.
Eligible drivers also receive access to:
Medical insurance
Dental coverage
Vision coverage
401(k) options
Paid vacation time
Rider and pet programs are available for approved drivers.
Schedule & Home Time
This fleet operates on a structured schedule with drivers out for 12 days followed by 48 hours at home every other weekend. Dispatch works to keep schedules organized and predictable so drivers know when they are heading home instead of waiting for availability.
The goal on this account is consistency. Drivers stay moving through planned regional lanes with fewer unexpected changes during the workweek.

Drivers operate late-model sleeper trucks equipped with:
Automatic transmissions
APU systems
Power inverters
Refrigerator space
TV and microwave mounts in most units
Equipment is maintained on a regular service schedule to help reduce breakdowns and downtime.
