Full Description
Weekly Pay: $1,250-$1,500
Home Time: Every Other Weekend
Freight: No-Touch Dry Van
Running Area: Regional Freight Network
Hiring Area: Shreveport
Schedule: Regional Freight Continuity with Consistent Dispatch Direction
Drivers who value consistency over constant change will appreciate this CDL A truck driver opportunity based near Shreveport. This fleet is built around regional freight continuity and dispatch consistency, creating a work environment where drivers can focus on running miles instead of wondering where the next load is coming from. Freight moves through established regional lanes with organized planning that helps reduce unnecessary downtime, minimize last-minute route changes, and support dependable weekly earnings.
This position is designed for drivers who want a straightforward operation with reliable freight, predictable scheduling, and home time that remains part of the plan week after week.
Regional Freight Operations
Drivers haul no-touch dry van freight throughout established regional lanes across Louisiana and surrounding Southern freight markets. The customer network provides consistent freight volume throughout the year, allowing drivers to maintain productive miles without relying on seasonal freight spikes.
Most loads move as drop-and-hook freight, while a smaller percentage consists of scheduled live unload deliveries. Because dispatch plans freight ahead whenever possible, drivers spend more time on the road and less time waiting for their next assignment.
The regional lane structure allows freight to flow efficiently while providing drivers with a more organized work schedule and fewer unexpected changes throughout the week.
Weekly Pay
Drivers average between $1,250 and $1,500 per week depending on experience, mileage, and freight demand. Reliable freight movement supports consistent weekly income, while qualifying detention pay helps compensate drivers for customer-related delays.
Performance incentives are also available for drivers who maintain safe driving habits and dependable service.
Home Time & Schedule
Drivers operate on a structured 12-day schedule followed by 48 hours at home every other weekend. Dispatch focuses on maintaining clean scheduling practices and organized freight planning so drivers have better visibility into both their current route and upcoming home time.
This approach allows drivers to establish a predictable routine while continuing to run productive regional miles.
Equipment
Drivers operate late-model sleeper trucks equipped with:
Automatic transmissions
APU systems
Power inverters
Refrigerator storage
TV and microwave mounting capability in most trucks
Equipment is maintained on a regular preventative maintenance schedule to help minimize downtime and maximize available driving hours.
