Full Description
Home Time: 12 days out, 2 full days home
Weekly Pay: $1,250-$1,500
Freight: Refrigerated freight | No-touch loads | Nationwide running
Southwest freight demand and operational consistency give drivers access to dependable miles through one of the country's busiest freight regions. This CDL-A position is built around keeping trucks moving with established refrigerated freight lanes, organized dispatch planning, and a long-haul schedule that helps support steady weekly earnings.
Nationwide refrigerated freight
No-touch CDL-A loads
Long-haul miles across multiple regions
Paid orientation and rider policy available
Freight Details
Drivers haul refrigerated freight throughout the Southwest and across nationwide lanes using a combination of drop-and-hook loads and scheduled live deliveries. Freight moves through active shipping markets that help maintain consistent load availability while giving drivers the flexibility to run a variety of routes.
The operation focuses on keeping trucks loaded and moving instead of sitting between dispatches. No-touch freight allows drivers to stay focused on the road while dispatch works to minimize downtime and maintain productive trip planning throughout each work cycle.
Pay & Benefits
Drivers typically earn between $1,250 and $1,500 per week based on mileage, trip length, and overall productivity. Longer hauls and consistent freight demand help support reliable weekly pay throughout the year.
Medical, dental, and vision benefits begin after 30 days. Paid orientation is provided, and travel expenses related to orientation are covered.
Home Time & Schedule
Drivers operate on a schedule of 12 days out followed by 2 full days at home. This structure provides a balance between maximizing mileage opportunities and maintaining scheduled home time. Trips are generally planned in advance to help create a smoother routine from dispatch through delivery.
Equipment Information
Drivers are assigned automatic sleeper trucks designed for over-the-road comfort and maintained on a routine preventive maintenance schedule. Reliable equipment helps reduce downtime and keeps drivers focused on productive miles.
Additional Information
• Nationwide refrigerated freight
• No-touch freight operation
• Southwest and nationwide running lanes
• Paid orientation with travel covered
• Rider policy available for qualified drivers
Requirements
Drivers must have a valid Class A CDL license and at least 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience. Drivers must meet all DOT and company safety requirements.
CK Transportation is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
