Weekly Earnings: $1,350-$1,500 average
Home Time: 48-hour reset every other weekend
Freight: No-touch regional dry van freight
Regional lane familiarity and dependable freight give CDL-A truck drivers a more consistent way to run without dealing with constant changes in routing or freight patterns. Drivers based in Oklahoma City operate established multi-state lanes with steady dry van freight, organized dispatch coordination, and average haul lengths that support productive weeks on the road.
Drivers haul dry van freight across established regional lanes serving multiple states. Most loads are drop-and-hook, with some live unload deliveries depending on the customer. Running within an established freight network gives drivers more familiarity with the routes and freight patterns while helping maintain consistent mileage from week to week.
Schedule & Home Time
The schedule consists of 12 days on the road followed by a guaranteed 48-hour reset every other weekend. Loads are planned in advance whenever possible to help drivers transition between assignments without unnecessary downtime. This structure provides dependable home time while still supporting steady regional mileage.
Truck Equipment
Drivers operate 2021 or newer Freightliner and Kenworth tractors with automatic transmissions. Trucks are equipped with APUs, inverters, refrigerator space, and TV and microwave mounts for additional comfort while on the road. Preventive maintenance is scheduled regularly to help keep equipment reliable and minimize avoidable downtime.
Pay & Benefits
Weekly earnings average $1,350-$1,500 based on miles and experience. Additional detention compensation is available for qualifying delays. After 6 months, drivers become eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and participation in a 401(k) retirement plan.
Driver Options & Support
Rider and pet programs are available for approved drivers. Assigned trucks may be taken home during scheduled resets when safe parking is available, or drivers may use an approved parking location. Dispatch and maintenance teams provide support with load coordination, routing, and equipment needs throughout each trip.
