Weekly Pay - $1,450 to $1,650
Run a consistent Midwest and Northeast route with home time every weekend and steady dry van freight.
CK Transportation is hiring a CDL A driver for a regional position based in the Detroit area where the focus is on keeping the week structured from start to finish. This fleet runs repeat lanes instead of constantly shifting routes, allowing drivers to stay productive and build a routine they can count on from week to week.
What This Run Looks Like
- Regional Northeast dry van freight
- Monday through Friday operation
- Home every weekend for reset
- Mostly drop-and-hook loads
- Repeat freight lanes each week
Drivers typically leave early in the week and run through Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and surrounding states before working back toward home by the end of the week. Loads are planned ahead of time, helping reduce downtime and keeping transitions between runs smooth so drivers are not waiting on last-minute dispatch.
Pay ranges from $1,250 to $1,450 per week depending on miles and performance, with a $1,200 weekly pay protection available when eligibility requirements are met. Paychecks are issued every Friday, and the consistency of these lanes helps maintain stable weekly income.
Drivers are assigned 2019 or newer Freightliner Cascadia tractors with automatic transmission, APUs, inverters, refrigerator space, and double bunk sleeper setups. Equipment is maintained on a regular service schedule to reduce breakdowns and keep drivers moving.
Orientation lasts about two to three days. Hotel and meals are provided, and orientation pay is included with the first paycheck. Drivers leave knowing their lanes, dispatcher communication, and weekly expectations.
