CDL A Truck Driver
Nashville, TN 37202
Weekly Pay: $1,650-$1,850 | Home Time: Weekly reset
Dry van freight | Drop-and-hook loads | Regional miles
This position is built for drivers who want steady pay and a schedule that stays the same week to week. CDL A drivers in this fleet run repeat regional lanes with consistent freight, planned dispatch, and enough weekly miles to keep earnings strong without constantly changing routes. Most drivers stay close to the same running area each week, which helps keep home time predictable.
Pay & Incentives
Pay is based on consistent mileage, not short runs, so a Class A CDL driver can count on reliable weekly income. Per diem increases take-home pay while keeping the base rate steady.
Freight & Miles
Dry van freight moving through established Southeast and Northeast corridors with a high percentage of drop-and-hook loads. Dispatch plans runs in advance so drivers know their next trip before finishing the current one. Most drivers average 2,800-3,000 miles per week with very little downtime between loads.
Home Time
Home time is scheduled every week with a full 48-hour reset. Drivers park at a secure yard during time off, making it easier to transition between the road and home without worrying about parking. Routes stay consistent so a CDL-A truck driver can plan personal time without surprises.
Equipment
Late-model International tractors assigned to this fleet and maintained on a regular service schedule. Trucks are kept road-ready to reduce breakdown time and lost miles. Dry van only, so drivers are not switching trailer types from week to week.
