CDL A Truck Driver
Louisville, KY 40202
Weekly Pay: $1,600-$1,800 | Home Time: Weekly 48-hour reset
Dry van freight | Mostly drop-and-hook | 2,800-3,000 miles per week
Drivers in this run stay busy with regular freight and a schedule that doesn't change every week. The lanes are already built, dispatch plans ahead, and loads keep moving so you're not sitting around waiting to get rolling again. If you're a Class A CDL driver who wants steady work and a reset you can count on, this is a solid setup.
Route & Work Flow
Regional dry van freight running through established lanes with a strong mix of drop-and-hook loads. Trips are planned before you finish your current run, so a CDL-A truck driver isn't guessing what comes next. Most drivers average close to 3,000 miles weekly with very little downtime between loads.
Freight stays consistent, which makes the week easier to manage and keeps things predictable.
Weekly Pay & Extras
Pay comes from reliable miles, helping a CDL A driver keep weekly earnings steady. The per diem adds to take-home pay without affecting your base rate.
Truck & Equipment
Assigned International tractors that are about 2-3 years old and kept on a regular maintenance schedule. Equipment is set up for regional runs and maintained to avoid unnecessary downtime. Dry van only, so you're not switching equipment types week to week.
Time at Home
You'll be home every week for a full 48-hour reset. Trucks are parked at a secure yard during time off, which keeps the transition simple when you're heading home or getting back on the road.
