Full Description
CDL A Truck Driver - Macon, GA 31201
Weekly Pay: $1,250-$1,500 | Home Time: 12 days out, 2 full days home
Refrigerated freight | No-touch loads | Coast-to-coast running
If you'd rather stay moving than bounce between short runs, this setup leans into longer trips with fewer interruptions. Freight runs across multiple regions, giving drivers the kind of mileage that builds a strong weekly check without constant stop-and-go. The focus is on keeping drivers running instead of sitting, which helps maintain consistency from one week to the next.
Load Type & Running Area
This is refrigerated freight moving nationwide with a focus on longer hauls. All loads are no-touch, but drivers should expect a mix of drop-and-hook and scheduled deliveries. Routes are designed to keep trucks moving across multiple states instead of staying locked into one small region, which helps support steady mileage.
Pay Breakdown
Drivers typically bring in $1,250-$1,500 weekly depending on miles and trip length. Longer runs help stabilize earnings week to week by reducing downtime between loads. Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage begin after 30 days, helping drivers transition quickly into full coverage.
Time Out / Home Time
The standard schedule runs 12 days out with a full 48-hour reset at home. This structure works well for drivers who want to maximize miles while still having planned time off built into the month. Trips are generally planned ahead of time to help maintain a consistent routine.
Truck Information
Drivers are assigned automatic sleeper trucks set up for over-the-road comfort. Units are maintained on a routine schedule to keep downtime low and ensure drivers stay on the road instead of waiting on repairs.
