Position Overview
At our warehouse and outside yard, our drivers are responsible for material pickups and deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner. Drivers also work with our warehouse team to organize, rotate stock, assist in maintenance of equipment, and load and unload material.

Responsibilities of the Position
- Operates a truck according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
- Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations
- Deftly maneuvers truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; follows loading crew signals
- Assists with loading and unloading of goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted; unloads empty skids and returns all equipment to the designated area
- Maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to shipping office or other appropriate staff when the delivery route is complete
- Keeping delivery vehicles clean and looking professional
- Keeping warehouse manager aware of maintenance items needed on vehicles and assisting with any repair and maintenance of equipment
- Organizing products and rotating stock as product is received
- Daily upkeep with products to maintain a clean and organized warehouse and yard
Job Requirements/Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points
- Ability to remain focused in a busy environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum, valid Class A CDL
Physical Requirements
- Must adhere to all safety rules at all times
- Must be able to lift 55+ pounds at a time
- Willingness to work long hours, particularly during high peak business season, sometimes in undesirable ranges of climate and weather conditions
- Frequent exposure to heavy equipment
- May need to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to travel frequently
- Prolonged periods of sitting in a trailer cab
