Full Description

Cavalier Logistics is seeking a full-time professional CDL Class B Truck Driver for deliveries.

Why Drive for Cavalier

Pay: $21.00-$23.00/hour, based on experience, with overtime paid after 40 hours.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift / start time. Home every night on local routes with only occasional regional/over-the-road runs.
Equipment: 26' box truck, late-model and well maintained.
Freight: Steady airport (RDU) and customer deliveries.

This position will be responsible for the safe operation of company equipment and timely, courteous delivery of product to our customers.

What You'll Do

Run local routes in a 26' box truck, with occasional regional/over-the-road runs.
Pick up and deliver general and specialized freight (palletized, packaged or loose) using a pallet jack and liftgate.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep your ELD logs current.
Keep dispatch updated on your ETA, road conditions and any issues.

What You Need

A valid CDL Class B (Class A welcome.)
2+ years of commercial driving experience.
A good driving record.
The ability to lift 40 lbs.
A professional, customer-friendly attitude.
Ability to pass DOT drug tests and background checks.
A high school diploma or GED.
