Transport Driver (64514)

We have been making quality beverages for the Midwest since 1872 and supplying them from 14 distribution centers across Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.

Position Summary: Responsible for transporting Coca-Cola products between company facilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Transportation of Coca-Cola Beverage Products between Chesterman Co. facilities.
• Make connection or disconnection trailers at destination. Drop and hook trailers.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections, as well as verify load and seal numbers.
• Maintain DOT time log, Bill of Lading, and other paperwork as required.
• Maintain vehicle, product, and equipment to company standard.
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• High-School Diploma/GED Required
• 1+ Years of CDL Driving Experience
• Hazmat Certification Preferred
• Familiar with DOT regulations
• Class A CDL License. Driving record within MVR policy guidelines
• CDL Endorsement T (Doubles) Preferred

Work Environment: May have to climb stairs and work in back rooms. Subject to outside elements and may have to work in heat, cold, rain, and snow.

• Visual and auditory abilities include depth perception and color vision
• Constantly handling product and bending
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, and squatting
• Frequent balancing, climbing, sitting, and reaching
• Ability to lift/carry <75lbs
• Ability to push/pull <150lbs

Job Status: Full Time

Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday with Occasional Saturdays.

Varying start time of 11am-3pm until completion of routes assigned
