Full Description
Duties include overseeing, guiding, and performing work for the Municipal Drainage Utility involving CCTV inspections and review, and complex, heavy construction repair and maintenance work on stormwater infrastructure; planning, organizing, and assigning work for crews and providing technical leadership for projects; providing instruction and training related to the full scope of utility repairs for maintenance and equipment operations staff; assisting with administration and oversight of the field training regimen; and reviewing completed work of repair crews. Other duties include ensuring public health and safety regarding the full scope of utility infrastructure maintenance and repairs; and responding to after-hours trouble calls on emergencies. A high school diploma or equivalent, and three years of progressively responsible experience in utility repair required. Must have a Texas Class A CDL and currently possess or be able to obtain within a 6 month timeframe aTCEQ Class D Water licenses and 24-Hour Hazwoper certification. Must also have or obtain within a specified timeframe NASSCO PACP-LACP- MACP, and Confined Space entry certification. CCTV experience preferred. The hours for this position are 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with mandatory on-call rotation. A résumé must be submitted with application.
