Water/Sewer Service Aide II- Treatment Operations (PW 5) Full-Time Regular Pay Range Probationary pay range: $18.37- $20.06/hr. (PPW 5) AFSCME pay range: $20.28- $24.19/hr. (PW 5) Reports To Operations Manager W/S Manager or Water Treatment Manager Department Public Works Previously Held By n/a Supervisory Responsibility: None Issue Date January 11 2024 In-House Posting: Yes Close Date January 18 2024 Advertised Outside: No The Water and Sewer Service Aide II- Treatment Operations assists Water and Wastewater Treatment Operations staff in all aspects of water and wastewater treatment. This position splits its time between the treatment facilities and is responsible for routine maintenance of equipment buildings and grounds. This includes plowing mowing tank cleanings at the treatment plants and associated outstations. This position will also conduct field sampling and perform basic laboratory tests and will be required to perform on-call duty and be part of the on-call rotations. *Note: this position is subject to recall and stand-by duty during non-regular working hours weekends and holidays. In addition if holding a CDL this position is subject to federal CDL drug and alcohol requirements. Position should be able to respond within 60 minutes to the work site. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; or three to twelve months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Grade I NH Wastewater Treatment License or Operator in Training (OIT) is required within 12 months of hire and Grade I NH Water Treatment License or OIT required within 24 months of hire.
