Position Overview

As a Service Route Operator, you'll assist in the collection of solid waste along an established route, primarily operating a two-person truck servicing yard waste customers. This position offers daytime hours, typically Tuesday through Friday, allowing for a stable and predictable schedule.

What You'll Do:

• Operate refuse trucks to collect solid waste, recyclables, yard, and bulk materials

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and preventive maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness and proper function of assigned vehicles

• Navigate routes independently and safely using maps or GPS

• Deliver courteous, dependable service to residents and businesses

Qualifications:

• Possess a Class B CDL permit before starting employment

• Ability to earn full Class B CDL within 3 months of hire (training provided)

• Familiarity with waste collection equipment and safety procedures

• Knowledge of local streets and neighborhoods

• Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and as a team

Pay & Career Progression:

• $21.79/hour starting pay with CDL permit

• $22.88/hour after obtaining full CDL
