The principal challenge of this position is to perform a variety of material movement tasks for the receiving, warehousing, distribution and shipping of material in an efficient and timely manner. This includes both raw materials and finished goods. A key challenge in this position is to ensure all warehouse equipment is available, well maintained, and operated in a safe manner. Providing appropriate communications and feedback to all individuals involved with overseeing materials movements is crucial in this position to ensure any issues are resolved immediately and accurately.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicate clearly in English both verbally and written
Wear appropriate required safety gear
Attend work regularly and reliably
Work flexible shifts and overtime as scheduled or directed
Conformance to company performance rules such as work instructions, working standards, policies, etc.
Conformance to behavioral rules, expectations, and company policies.
Assure all warehouse equipment is available, well maintained, and operated in a safe manner
Coordinate work activities of other warehouse operations personnel and train them in the safe use of warehouse operations equipment
Perform systems and administrative requirements associated with receiving and shipping functions
Adhere to CSI's import/export compliance policy and requirements
Review CSI's compliance website for procedures/SOP/guidelines
Ensure that materials are supplied to production following the rules of FIFO inventory management
Communicate any issues with raw materials
Perform inventory cycle counts of raw materials
Unloads raw materials and put away in warehouse
Notify Quality Control of any incoming raw materials
Ensure all raw materials returned from production are properly weighed and tagged
Monitor the warehouse on a daily basis, looking for unsafe storage of raw materials or finished goods and correct
Make entries in Excel as needed
Keep accurate and up to date records of all raw materials stored in the warehouse, trailers or off site warehouse
Pull any orders for raw materials to be shipped from warehouse to any off site location
Prepare BOL for shipments of raw materials
Verify weights of any materials being shipped
Provide information of raw materials needed for daily production
Demonstrate awareness of and compliance with all pertinent safety policies and procedures
Maintain a professional, clean and organized work environment
Participate in work related training programs
This position requires a Class A CDL within 1 year of taking the role. CSI will assist in obtaining this license as it is a requirement for all Warehouse Attendants.

Educational and Other Skills Requirements:
High school diploma or GED is required.
Must be able to lift thirty-five (35) pounds to an elevation of six feet or more
Understanding of distribution procedures
Must have valid licenses and qualification to operate various forms of mobile equipment (forklift, CDL Trucks, manlifts, etc.) &/or obtain valid licenses within a designated period of time.
General knowledge of the production process
Effectively utilizes available computer tools, including Excel, Word, and Oracle (Required for grade H7 and above)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Good organizational skills
Understands the concept of customer satisfaction and the corresponding capability of meeting those needs
Thorough knowledge of CSI's Safety, Environmental and Health policies.
Good communication skills
Exercises good judgment in evaluating situations
Has excellent follow-through skills
Work Shift: 12-hour shift, with occasional voluntary overtime. 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am. With a 4 on /4 off rotation schedule.
