Join a leading general contractor specializing in marine park construction. We are seeking a CDL A Driver who can do more than just haul. This role includes equipment transport, basic mechanical work, and operating heavy machinery to support construction projects along Florida's coast. We focus on various types of marine and site construction projects, including beach access structures, marinas, seawall installation, and concrete work. What you'll do
Safely operate and transport materials and equipment using a CDL A vehicle
Load, unload, and haul construction equipment between shop, yard, and job sites
Perform routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs on vehicles and small equipment
Assist with site setup, equipment operation, and basic labor as needed
Maintain accurate delivery and maintenance records
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
Follow safety protocols and maintain an organized worksite.
Collaborate with team members to complete project tasks efficiently and accurately.
Follow supervisor direction to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively in a marine construction environment.
Maintain a safe and organized worksite, adhering to OSHA safety protocols.
Travel to job sites as required; housing and per diem compensation will be provided.
Qualifications
Definite Requirements:
Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
Proven experience in equipment transport and hauling
Basic mechanical skills - ability to troubleshoot and repair small tools and construction equipment
Experience operating equipment (ex: loaders, excavators, or similar heavy machinery)
Ability to lift and move materials safely and work outdoors in variable conditions
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Adherence to a drug-free workplace policy.
