160,000 LB. JUMBO PROPANE TRANSPORTS - EXPERIENCED CDL-A DRIVERS WANTED

BIG EQUIPMENT. SPECIALIZED WORK. SERIOUS OPPORTUNITY.

Dave Hausbeck Trucking (DHT Group) is hiring experienced CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Drivers in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area for our specialized 160,000 lb. multi-axle Jumbo propane transport operation.

These aren't ordinary tanker transports. And this isn't an ordinary tanker driving opportunity.

We're looking for professional drivers with the experience, judgment, and commitment to safety required to operate specialized heavy transport equipment.

$1,300-$2,500+ average gross weekly earnings. $0.70-$0.75 CPM plus pumping compensation.

This equipment requires more than simply holding a CDL. It requires an experienced professional who understands equipment inspections, safe vehicle handling, tanker operations, and the responsibility that comes with transporting propane.

Not every fleet operates equipment like this. Not every driver gets the opportunity.

Driver Responsibilities

Safely operate specialized Jumbo propane transport equipment
Transport propane (UN1075) throughout assigned regional operating areas
Safely load and unload propane using pumping equipment
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
Maintain accurate ELD records and shipping documentation
Inspect and properly operate hoses, valves, fittings, placards, and required safety equipment
Comply with DOT, FMCSA, customer, and DHT safety requirements
Represent DHT professionally at loading facilities and customer locations

Driver Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL
Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required (H/N or X)
Minimum 1 year of verifiable CDL-A driving experience required
Acceptable motor vehicle record
Ability to meet applicable DOT qualification requirements
Ability to safely operate specialized heavy transport equipment and tanker pumping systems
Ability to work safely outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Strong commitment to safe, professional driving practices

Previous propane, LPG, or Jumbo transport experience is preferred but not required.

Drivers with experience hauling anhydrous ammonia, refined fuels, or other bulk liquid and gas products are encouraged to apply.
