Detroit Aggregate is looking for Cement Bulker Drivers to join its aggregate division based in Detroit, MI. If you are looking for consistent hours, overtime and year-round work, the Detroit Aggregate team may be the right fit for you.
Duties and responsibilities
- Operate cement tanker and haul deliveries to job sites safely and professionally
- Assemble loading and unloading tubes
- Load and unload the cement tanker trailers into the silo using pneumatic hoses
- Clean truck after loading and delivery
- Perform pre and post trip inspections correctly
Qualified candidates must have the following:
- Previous Commercial driving experience with DOUBLES TRAILERS (preferred)
- Tankers Endorsement
- Aggregate hauling experience is preferred
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Reliable transportation
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Lift and carry 50 pounds for sustained distances
- Able to stand, walk, crouch stoop and sit for varying times during shifts up to 12 hours long

- Successful completion of background check and drug test
- Verification of references and satisfactory driving record
- Acceptable physical examination
