Location: Wilmington NC 28401
Pay: $22- $26 an hour- Full-time
Requirements
- Must possess active Class A or B Commercial Drivers License and clean driving record
- Experience in pond/lake maintenance, landscaping, erosion control, or stormwater maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Comfortable working around water, slopes, and environmental risks (bees, poison ivy, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate team members
- Commitment to safety practices with chemicals and equipment
- Ability to follow company policies and values
- Team-oriented with Dragonfly's values: Quality Focus, Takes Ownership, and Growth Oriented
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely haul/transport equipment and resources on company trucks and trailers.
- Operate and maintain equipment safely (slope mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, mini-excavators, skid steers, etc.)
- Perform manual labor tasks and operate hand tools
- Maintain and repair ponds, lakes, and stormwater control measures (grading, erosion repair, planting, mowing, invasive species removal)
- Lead by example, ensuring a safe and productive work environment
- Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety guidelines
- Complete repairs and maintenance on ponds, lakes, and other stormwater control measures, including: Turf establishment, mowing, planting, invasive plant treatment or removal, hand or machine excavation, grading, erosion repairs, tree removal, and site stabilization
