Duck's Poultry Service is seeking a dependable and experienced Hatchery Driver (Class A CDL) to join our Transportation team.
This position is responsible for the safe pickup and delivery of eggs from breeder farms to hatcheries, as well as transporting supplies from hatcheries back to farms. Additional responsibilities may include transporting chicks and live poultry as needed.

Duck's Poultry Service is seeking a dependable and experienced Hatchery Driver (Class A CDL) to join our Transportation team.
This position is responsible for the safe pickup and delivery of eggs from breeder farms to hatcheries, as well as transporting supplies from hatcheries back to farms. Additional responsibilities may include transporting chicks and live poultry as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up eggs from breeder farms and safely deliver them to hatcheries.
- Verify counts and maintain accurate route records.
- Handle eggs carefully to minimize damage and maintain hatchability.
- Load and deliver farm supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck.
- Follow all company safety, biosecurity, and DOT requirements.
- Communicate effectively with management and hatchery personnel.
- Transport chicks from hatcheries to farms as needed.
- Assist with live hauling of pullets and spikes between farms as needed.
- Operate a Moffett when required.
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays
- Typical hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Starting at $30.00 per hour, based on experience.
