CDL Driver/Warehouse

In this position, you will work in the warehouse half of the shift, and drive for half of the shift. You will NOT drive all day.

You must possess your CDL for at least 2 years to be eligible for this position.

Shift may end before or after time listed.

Computer skills required: reading, writing, entering data at a basic level.

Must know how to use RF gun.

Electric Ride-On Jack experience preferred, however, we are willing to traiin.

This position involves standing on your feet for 95% of the day. You will be bending over constantly and lifting 20 pound cases. Your goal will be to pack 750 cases an hour to meet KPIs.

Ability to perform work in a fast paced work environment and capable of the defined physical activities (lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, etc.)

Lift 20 - 25 pounds constantly throughout the day.

This is a very labor-intensive position.

Break: 30 minute unpaid lunch break. We recommend that you bring your lunch because there are not a lot of restaurants nearby.

Strongly recommend a clear water bottle to stay hydrated, especially in the summer, when it can get warm.

When working on a Driving Job through Bluecrew, you must be 21 years and older, are expected to bring a valid driver’s license and proof of personal auto insurance to your assignment, and meet our motor vehicle record (MVR) and drug screening standards.

In addition you may be expected to do any and all of the following:

• Operate a large or small vehicle on highways, side streets, neighborhoods, and other motor ways in a safe, courteous, and legal manner; including box trucks, flat beds, vans, SUVs, or other motor vehicles.
• Working on your feet in between stops or when loading the vehicle in preparation for deliveries
• Safely lifting and moving heavy boxes or other heavy items, up to 50 pounds in weight
• Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities as required by the immediate supervisor
• Comfortable working around large trucks, pallet jacks, or other moving equipment as needed
• Interfacing with customers and managers in a professional and courteous manner
• There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants.
