CDL A truck drivers in the Detroit area looking for steady regional miles and predictable home time can expect consistent freight running the Ohio Valley and Midwest. This Class A CDL truck driver position offers reliable weekly pay, dry van freight with minimal handling, and newer equipment designed for comfort on regional routes. Drivers who prefer staying within a familiar operating area while still earning solid weekly income will fit well in this fleet.
Regional Route Overview

This CDL A driver position runs a regional Ohio-based lane covering Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Illinois. Freight is primarily dry van with the majority of loads drop and hook, allowing drivers to stay moving without long delays. Most drivers average enough miles each week to stay in the $1,200-$1,300 range depending on performance and dispatch.
Equipment & Driver Comfort

Class A CDL drivers operate well-maintained sleeper trucks including Freightliner Cascadias, International ProStars, and Kenworth tractors. Trucks are equipped with inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling without excessive idling. Drivers may take the truck home for time off if safe parking is available, making this a convenient option for drivers who prefer to stay close to home.

Orientation & Start Process

Orientation lasts three days and is provided at multiple company locations. Transportation, hotel, and meals during orientation are provided, and drivers are paid for attending. Most CDL A drivers are able to start quickly after approval.
