CDL A Truck Driver
No-touch freight • $1,500-$1,800 weekly • Home every other week • Late-model trucks
Hiring Area: Lafayette, LA 70501
If you're looking for a CDL A driving position that keeps you moving without constant changes in routes, this opportunity with Express Trucking Group focuses on steady freight and a consistent two-week schedule. Drivers run primarily east of I-35 through the Southeast and surrounding regions, staying in familiar lanes with predictable miles.
Freight is dry van and 100% no-touch. Many loads are drop and hook, helping reduce wait times, while others are live load or unload depending on the delivery. Dispatch works to keep trips planned ahead of time so drivers can stay productive throughout their run.
Drivers operate 2021 or newer Freightliner and Kenworth trucks with automatic transmissions and inverters installed. Equipment can be taken home with safe parking or kept at a terminal between runs.
Compensation for this position runs $1,500-$1,800 weekly. Drivers also receive detention pay, layover pay, and a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement plan with company match, and paid vacation. Passenger and pet policies are available after approval.

Must have at least 3 months tractor-trailer experience
Must meet DOT requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
