Position Summary
The CDL-A Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of freight, including both pick-up and delivery. This role is essential to daily operations and requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism.
Drivers are entrusted with the care and operation of company equipment and are expected to represent the company positively at all times.

Reports To: Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities
Transportation & Delivery
Execute pick-ups and deliveries in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner
Transport freight to and from designated locations while maintaining delivery schedules
Ensure accuracy and completeness of deliveries and documentation
⚙ Equipment Operation & Maintenance
Hook and unhook trailers, including raising and lowering landing gear
Perform pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections
Maintain clean and well-kept equipment
Operate forklift or equipment as needed (as applicable)
Compliance & Reporting
Submit accurate daily trip reports in a timely manner
Properly use and maintain E-Log systems
Ensure Bills of Lading (BOLs) are signed and submitted
Follow OSHA, DOT, state, and federal regulations
Safety & Communication
Operate equipment safely at all times
Report accidents, delays, breakdowns, or road/weather conditions immediately
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Maintain a valid CDL-A license
Professional Standards
Represent the company with professionalism and integrity
Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid CDL-A license required
Minimum of 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience preferred
Strong understanding of DOT regulations, including HOS compliance
Clean driving record
Ability to read, write, and perform basic calculations
Working knowledge of vehicle safety and operation systems
Must meet U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) medical standards
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Vision of at least 20/40 (corrective lenses permitted)
Adequate hearing ability
Ability to bend, reach, kneel, twist, climb, push, and pull as needed
Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds
Must meet all CDL physical requirements
Work Environment
Independent work for extended periods
Exposure to heavy equipment and machinery
Moderate to high noise levels
Indoor and outdoor work environments
Exposure to varying and sometimes extreme weather conditions
