As a CDL Driver, you'll be a key part of keeping freight moving safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities include: Driving & Delivery
Pick up and deliver product to designated locations safely and on timePlan efficient routes to save time and fuel
Ensure all Bills of Lading (BOLs) are signed and returned
Equipment & Safety
Hook and unhook trailers (raise/lower landing gear)
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Keep your tractor and trailer clean and in excellent condition
Report delays, breakdowns, weather issues, or emergencies immediately
Report all accidents involving driver or equipment right away
Teamwork & Communication
Work closely with warehouse staff on trailer spotting needs
Maintain customer and company trailer pools
Submit accurate daily trip reports on time
Represent the company and trucking industry professionally
Safety First-Always
Follow OSHA, DOT, state, and federal regulations
Adhere to all company safety policies
Operate equipment safely at all times
What You Bring to the Table
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Valid CDL license
Clean and respectable driving record
Ability to read, write, complete logs, read maps, and perform basic math
Working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems
Meet or exceed DOT medical standards
Understanding of DOT regulations, HOS, and inspection requirements
Education:
High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
Physical & Work Environment
Physical Requirements:
Lift and carry up to 30 lbs
Sit for extended periods
Occasional climbing, crouching, kneeling
Light manual labor
Work Environment Includes:
Warehouse and yard settings
Indoor and outdoor work
Moderate to high noise levels
Working around heavy machinery
Exposure to hot or cold temperatures depending on weather
