Description
First Piedmont Corporation's Roll-Off Drivers are responsible for preparing, securing and the eventual transport of open top and compactor containers to various disposal sites which include landfills, transfer facilities and the various customer jobsite locations. Roll-Off Drivers will need to navigate driveways, alleyways, job sites and traffic filled roadways. This may also entail operating in tight environments, backing up long distances such as private driveways as well as heavy industrial and crowded city environments.
Requirements
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired.
• Possess valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum one (1) year of commercial driving experience OR CDL school certificate
• Must be able to meet relevant criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment
Must be able to operate a manual transmission
Must be able to work both weekends
