CDL-A Truck Driver
No-touch dry van freight | Compensation: $1,550 to $1,700
Home Time: Every other weekend | Hiring Area: Jackson, MS

Driver Workflow
A CDL-A truck driver in this position moves freight through regional lanes with an emphasis on keeping wheels turning and minimizing downtime between assignments. Load timing is arranged to keep a Class A CDL driver progressing through the week without extended gaps between stops.
Home time is set every other weekend, allowing drivers to step away from the road and return ready for the next series of runs.
Freight & Route Overview
• No-touch dry van freight across a multi-state operating area
• Combination of drop-and-hook and live load/unload based on facility
• Regional routing that keeps drivers within a consistent geographic range
Equipment Setup
Drivers operate late-model Freightliner tractors with automatic transmission. Each unit includes an APU, inverter, refrigerator, and designated space for a TV and microwave, giving a CDL A driver a practical and comfortable environment during time away from home.
Equipment is assigned and supported to maintain performance across changing route conditions.
Earnings & Pay Structure
Drivers in this role earn $1,550 to $1,700 per week based on miles and workload. Pay reflects steady freight demand and the ability to maintain productive driving time across the week.
Orientation & Transition
The onboarding process is structured to move drivers quickly from hiring into active runs. Travel and hotel accommodations are provided during orientation. After completion, drivers are routed home to collect personal belongings before beginning their first assignment.

Driver Requirements
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 months of CDL A driving experience within the last year, or at least 12 months of experience within the past three years. This role is suited for a CDL-A truck driver who is comfortable operating across regional routes and maintaining consistent driving performance.
